Eagle One Antenna

This antenna was made using a 31 foot fiberglass pole when closed up is only 44" . This pole was used as wind sock at airports and air ballon sites. .We took this pole and made modification and installed flexweave wire inside as you raise the pole. Special clamps to mount on mask or mounting pipes. The wire length is 33 foot and with

the ICOM AH-4 tuner will work 80 thru 10 meters. Works good with any tuner automatic or manual. Works very good with MFJ mini travel tuner

The need for a portable antenna was the reason for the tripod. We installed a 1 1/2" pipe inside tripod to give support to the Eagle One antenna. The use of double clamps made a strong setup for the antenna. As we showed the new mount at hamfest , many hams said it made a good base antenna as they could mount on the roof or on the ground. With the AH-4 tuner it only required 10 foot wire off each leg to make a good ground.base. You can add as much as you wish. The tripod can be screwed down to roof with ground wires laid out on roof with one of them taken down to ground rod for safety and better ground base.
